Rita Faye Elisar

Rita Faye Elisar passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025

at the age of 69. She was raised in Dutchtown Louisiana but moved to Baton Rouge in the 90's. Rita Faye loved listening to her music on her radio, going shopping, eating out and visiting with her neighbors from St. Theresa's Apartments.

She is survived by her two brothers and their wives, Archie and Gwen Molliere and Rubin and Gloria Molliere. She had three nephews Kelly Paul Molliere, Damon Molliere and Chris Fontenot, and seven great nieces and nephews and one great great nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents Rita M. Elisar and Nicholas Elisar, her maternal grandmother Frances Frederic, and her niece Kandice Molliere.

Memorial mass will be said at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 15208 Highway73, Prairieville La. on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 11:30 a.m.

Burial to follow in Hope Haven Mausoleum, Prairieville
