Richard Emory Albert

Richard Emory Albert, age 83, of Denham Springs, Louisiana, went peacefully to be with the Lord on December 15, 2025.

Richard was married for 63 years to the love of his life, Josephine Taylor Albert. He is survived by his children, Laura Jones (Rudy) and Randy Albert (Mandy); his grandchildren, Bryan (Alyssa) and Cameron (Laurel) Jones and Brandon (Kelsey) Albert; and his great-grandchildren, Cecilia, River, Jenson, Sutton Jones, and Ever Albert, as well as brother Joe David Albert.  

Richard loved the Lord and loved his family deeply. Known for his strong will and “hard head,” it was that determination that carried him through life and allowed him to persevere through many challenges. He will be dearly missed and forever loved, and his family finds comfort knowing he is now at peace in the presence of his Savior.

Thank you to the staff of La Plantation, Golden Age Nursing home and Lifesource hospice for helping us take care of our husband, father and grandfather.

A graveside service for the family will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Louisiana National Military Cemetery.
