Randel “Randy” Wayne D’Armond, age 75, of Denham Springs, Louisiana, peacefully passed away at his home on March 30th, 2026, in the comfort of his family.

Randy was known for his kindness, humor, hardworking spirit, and deep love for his family. He was a true family man who took pride in providing for and spending time with those he loved. He had a special way of lighting up a room, bringing smiles and laughter to everyone around him. He would do anything for his family and friends and will forever hold a place in the hearts of all who knew him. In his free time (besides hunting) he was a true working man—always using his hands to fix, build, or create projects—rarely sitting still and most often found outdoors.

Randy had a deep love for the outdoors, especially hunting. If you knew him, you knew how much pride and effort he poured into building his camp in Baywood, Louisiana. He made “D’s Hunting Lodge” a special, welcoming, and relaxing place for his family and friends. With a smile, he would always say to everyone, “it ain’t much, but it’s mine!”—a saying that will forever be remembered, as it perfectly reflected how proud he was of the camp he built and loved. Countless memories were made there with Randy, and his presence will continue to be felt as new memories are made and cherished by those who loved him.

Randy is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Dianne D’Armond; his children, Chad D’Armond (Shelly) and Kelly D’Armond; his grandchildren, Ryan D’Armond (Lauren), Madison Cresie “Skeeter D’Armond”, Riley D’Armond, Jace Landry, Austin Danna (Emily), and Antonia Danna (Champ Artigues); and his great-grandchildren, Rylinn D’Armond, Lucille “CiCi” D’Armond, and Laura Danna. His brother, Ronnie D’Armond (Linda); his niece, Katie D’Armond; his nephew, Neal D’Armond; his great-nieces, Leah Murray and Courtney D’Armond; and his great-nephews, Kaden Cazes and Bryce Murray. He was preceded in death by his parents, Reymond and Evelyn D’Armond; his brother, Dave D’Armond; and his mother-in-law, Lucille Baker Henderson.

In accordance with his wishes, no funeral or memorial service will be held. The family asks that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this time.
