Philip Joseph Pitslata Jr was born in New Roads, Louisiana on March 8, 1949, to the union of Philip and Katherine Pecora Pitslata.

He departed from this life on Thursday November 27, 2025, at Ochsner Medical Center O'Neal Campus Baton Rouge after a sudden illness, at the age of 76 years. He was a resident of Pride, LA.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, son, and siblings.
