Paulette Alexander Lee passed away peacefully on May 19, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was a beautiful, passionate soul who found joy in her beloved Lazy Lee sanctuary, the beauty of nature, her cherished pets and her close-knit family. She will be remembered most for her unconditional love for everyone she encountered. She treasured time spent with her family and sisters, and celebrating birthdays with loved ones was one of her greatest joys. Her faith in the Lord was the center of her life, and she found happiness in the simplest and most precious moments. She was a great keeper to her nickname “Smiley.”

Survived by her children Terri (Vince) Bourgeois, Michael (Gina)Lee, Paula (Richard) Guedry, Jo Ann Naquin; sisters Dianne Boudreaux and Herrick Boudreaux, sister-in-law Janet Alexander, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Paulette is now reunited in Heaven with her parents Paul and Olive Alexander; her brother Paul “Iggy” Alexander; son and daughter-in-law David and Sondra Lee; son-in-law Devin Naquin, and grandchildren, Rachel Bourgeois and Benjamin Lee; and many other beloved Alexander and Lee family members whom she held close in prayer every day. Her life and legacy will be celebrated in a private Christian ceremony.

Paulette’s love for eagles is beautifully reflected in the words of Scripture: “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31
