Paul James Labatut

A native of New Roads, and a resident of St. Amant he passed away at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington on Saturday, February 3, 2024. He was 72 years old, a retired laborer, a proud veteran of the United States Army, and an avid gardener. A private military service will be held at Port Hudson National Cemetery at a later date. He is survived by his daughter, Sandy Tullier (Andre); son, Dwayne Labatut (Tina); sisters, Dele Miles, Joann Goode (Doug), and Kathy Labatut; brother, Larry Labatut, and Johnny Labatut (Diana); four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and caring friend, Susan Dufrene.
