Patricia Dianne Naquin, affectionately known as Dianne, was born on August 4, 1950, in Bastrop, Louisiana. She passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025, at The Carpenter House in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at the age of 74 years. Dianne was a faithful Christian whose deep faith guided her throughout her life.
Dianne was the devoted wife of the late Nolan Dean Naquin and a cherished mother to the late Adam Lee Naquin. She was a beloved daughter to the late Claude Townsend Sr. and the late Lola Mae Takewell Townsend. Dianne also had the privilege of growing up with her brothers, the late Claude Townsend Jr., the late Randy Townsend, and the late Daniel Townsend, her sisters the late Peggy Harding, the late Mattie Jo Brossett, and the late Claudine Rymer, and shared a special bond with her sisters, Judy Fleming, Ella Mae Brossett, and brother Rocky Townsend, and her host of nieces and nephews.
An avid reader at heart, Dianne found joy in immersing herself in countless books, and she especially delighted in watching television shows, particularly drama love stories. She cherished precious moments spent with her family, eagerly playing games and creating lasting memories that will be fondly remembered by those she leaves behind.
Dianne's proudest accomplishments were her unwavering devotion to her family as a wife, mother, and sister. Her gentle spirit and kindness touched the hearts of all who knew her, and her legacy will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday July 11, 2025, 1:00 pm at Louisiana National Cemetery Zachary, Louisiana.
