Memorial service celebrating the life of Ouida “Cricket” Ann Childress of West Monroe, LA. will be held at a later date, under the direction of Church Funeral Services and Crematory.

Cricket was born August 19, 1947, and passed from this life December 9, 2023, at the age of 76.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Estelle Coburn, sisters, Loraine Pearson and Teri Lynn Parks.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 43 years, Dan Childress; daughter, Paula Ann Carlton; stepdaughters, Sandy Britt, Star Edwards, and Kelly Humphry; brother, Billy Coburn; sister, Betty Ruth Hemphill; granddaughter, Renee Carlton, and grandson, Jason Childress; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
