Otis 'Butch' Evans

Otis “Butch” Evans, 81, passed away on August 21, 2025, surrounded by his loving sons. A resident of Denham Springs Louisiana, he was a dedicated electrician for over 30 years that served his community through hard work and pride. He adored his dogs, Nancy and Cindy Lou, and they will miss him along with the snacks. Butch was a loving and dedicated father, brother, uncle and grandfather.

 With his wacky personality, he will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. He is survived by his two sons: Wayne Roy Evans (wife, Pam) and Jason Evans (wife, Angie), 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and two sisters: Frances and Marie Coniglio.

Butch is preceded by his parents, James Henry Sanders and Nancy Hammers along with siblings: John Ray, Bo, Kenneth, James, Earl, Bonnie and Lois.

A private celebration of life will be held for Otis on November 23rd, 2025 at Salem Cemetery in Walker, LA.
