Norris “Warren” Wheeler, Jr. was born on August 30, 1945, in Helena, AR and was a resident of Prairieville, LA. He passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at the age of 80. Warren moved to Louisiana from Arkansas in 1969 to work at Triad Nitrogen, where he worked until he retired in 2002. Warren made many lifetime friends while working there. There was a group of 28 families who moved from Arkansas to Louisiana and became family.
Warren is survived by his wife, Reba Wells Wheeler; daughters, Mindee Belleau (James) and Angela Gautreaux (Brady); grandchildren, Brynn Brown (Chad), Brooke Stewart (Steven), Bryce Babin (Courtney), Braxten Babin (Madeline), Bralee Babin ( Stanley); bonus grandchildren, Tron Wilson (Jennifer), Summer Vicknair (Rhett), Kourtney Gautreaux (Kevin), Steven Belleau; great grandchildren, Brylee, Hudson, Boston, Liam, Beckham, Bellamy, Brooklyn, Parker, Hensley, and 11 bonus great grandchildren; siblings, Pam Loveless (Gaylan) of Heber Springs, AR, Ronny Wheeler (Cindy) of Bryant, AR, Marsha Crocker (John) of Rayville, LA along with his adored dog, Shelby, numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Warren is preceded in death by his parents, Norris W. Wheeler, Sr. and Catherine Elease Wheeler; grandparents, Edgar Griffith and Bessie Crumby, Earl and Alma Wheeler; his beloved pets, Jelly, Rocky, Jazi, Razi, and Junior.
A private service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.
