Noemie LeBourgeois Millet, age 92, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2026. She was from Whitehall and resided in St. Amant. She was born on February 7, 1934, and lived a long and meaningful life centered around the people and simple joys she loved most.
Noemie found her greatest happiness in being surrounded by family and spending time outdoors. Whether it was gathering with loved ones or enjoying the beauty of nature, she cherished life’s quiet, meaningful moments.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Jennie Templet, Darleen Millet, and Sheila Rudolph and husband Mike Rudolph; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren who knew her as Mawmaw Mimi, all of whom carry on her legacy of love and family devotion.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Millet; her children, Linda Millet and Arnold Millet; granddaughter, Dixie Lebeau; and her son-in-law, Kenneth Templet.
Noemie will be remembered for her warmth, her love of family, and the lasting impact she made on generations who were blessed to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
A special thank you to the hospice nurses Kimberly, Tamara, Brittany, Latonya, and Chaplin Chandler for all the love and support throughout the last few years.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Sorrento Baptist Church 9am until service time at 11am. Burial will follow at Hope Haven Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Gonzales.
