Narvie Nell Wallace Cannon

Narvie Nell Wallace Cannon, born February 8, 1933, in Acy, LA, left this world on September 16, 2024 in New Albany, MS at the age of 91. Narvie was a faithful member of Galvez Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, and spending time with family. 

 Narvie is preceded in death by her parents, Earl A. and Reatha Wallace; her husband, Melvin Cannon; her son, Lionel Cannon; and son-in-laws Emmett Lee Sistrunk and Bobby Barnes.

 She is survived by her children, Thais Wallace and Gloria Barnes; 10 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 8 great great-grandchildren; Loretta Weatherford and Children; her dog for 15 years, Molly; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

 Services will be held at Galvez Pentecostal Church, 15267 Joe Sevario Rd Gonzales, LA 70737, on Saturday, September 21, 2024. Visitation starts at 9 am until service at 11 am. Private Burial to follow in Church Cemetery.
