Mitsuyo “Mitchie” Suzuki Crochet

Mitsuyo “Mitchie” Suzuki Crochet, born April 4, 1926, in Tokyo, Japan and resided in Donaldsonville, LA, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022.Mitchie adored her time shared with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening, needlepoint, and other handy work. .Mitchie is survived by her daughters, Midori Melancon and Florestine “Ann” Falcon (Tip Falcon); son, Norman J Crochet Jr.; grandchildren, Kimi Hart (Drew), Michael Crochet (Trisha), Kyle Melancon, Lonnie Falcon (Laura), and Brandon Falcon and 9 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Norman J. Crochet Sr.; mother, Kimi Suzuki and father, Kiyoza Suzuki; sisters, Akiko S. Jayson and Chieko Suzuki ; brother, Takumara. A private graveside service was held last week by her family to honor her memory.
