Mike John Cheramie

Mike John Cheramie, age 62, a native of Cut Off, La and a resident of Larose passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at 10:15am at Plaquemine Parish Medical Center. Mike is survived by his wife of 36 years, Robin Callais Cheramie of Larose; children, Ridge Michael Cheramie (Cheyenne Callais), and his boxer, Rhyder Reese; adopted son, Trevor Michael Cheramie; grandchildren, Phoebe Joy Christen, Moe’t Elaison Summers, Ezra Jane Serigny Cheramie, Sabbath Anthony Cheramie, Carsyn Cae Cheramie (aka Lil Girl, aka Carsy, Carsy Carsy) and Carmen Grace Hebert; sister, Janice Cheramie Rousse; godchildren, Jamie Rousse Danos and Kesti Cheramie Gaspard. Mike was preceded in death by His Parents Rena Theriot Cheramie and Vincy Joseph Cheramie; grandparents, Richess Pitre Theriot, Medrick Dominick Theriot, Lydia Cantrelle Cheramie, and Ernest Charles Cheramie. He was a Wireline Operator/Tugboat Captain, employed by Terrebonne Wireline Services for 37 ½ years. Mike enjoyed fishing, football, riding his grom, having seafood boils and eating out with his wife Robin. His absolute favorite thing was going to spend time with Carsyn. Mike graduated from SLHS in 1978. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023, from 9:00am until 11:00am at the Christian Fellowship Church, 13581 E Main St, Larose, LA 70373. Celebration of Life services will be held at 11:00am at the church.
