Michelle "Missy" Dupre James

Michelle “Missy” Dupre James, age 52, of St. Amant, Louisiana, passed away on April 2, 2026.

Missy was a loving wife, daughter, mother, sister, and friend whose warmth and joy brought people together. She had a deep love for the beach and cherished every moment she could spend with her feet in the sand, listening to the waves and soaking up the sun. She also found great happiness in simple pleasures—especially riding in her Jeep on a beautiful day with her family and friends.

Above all, Missy loved her family. She had a special gift for bringing everyone together, creating memories filled with laughter, love, and togetherness that will be treasured forever.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 30 years, Jesse James; her beloved daughter, Madison James; her parents, Mike and Janell Dupre; her brother and sister-in-law, Jake and Sonya Dupre; and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Missy’s presence, kindness, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but the love she gave so freely will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
