Michele Maria Borne

Michele Maria Borne, age 57, of Gonzales, Louisiana, passed away on December 3, 2025, after a life that held both joy and hardship. In her earlier years, she had a smile as bright as the sun; she was full of laughter and light — dancing in the kitchen, sitting on the floor coloring pictures, and wrestling playfully around the house with family. These cherished memories reflect the warmth, creativity, and joy she shared in those happier times.

The direction her life took, along with her struggle with mental illness, created hardships that were not easy to overcome. While those years were difficult, they are not the sum of who she was. We choose to remember her spirit in her brighter moments, and hold close the love and life she once expressed so freely. Now, she is at peace, free from the weight she carried in this world.

Michele is preceded in death by her parents, Clark and Roselyn Borne, and her siblings Scott, Marcie, and Clark II.

She is survived by her children, Chetta and her husband Houston, and Cy and his wife Delaney; her grandchildren Destyni, Dayton, Houston, Ethan, and Kiah; and her great-granddaughter, Aurora.

May she rest in peace, and may those who loved her find comfort in the memories of her happiest days.
