It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Anthony Delhommer Sr. on December 20, 2025, after a long, hard battle with cancer.
He was born on October 11, 1960, to Andrew Delhommer and Ida Mae Lambert. He was a hardworking, God‑fearing man who loved the Lord, his family, and the simple joy of being out on the water. When he wasn’t working, he could often be found out on his boat or spending time with his family and grandchildren. He especially enjoyed all the trips he took with his brothers to Lake Chicot. In his later years, after retiring early due to cancer, he enjoyed spending his time at home with his wife, reading his Bible, watching Gunsmoke, and working in his garden.
He is survived by his wife, Ronda Picou Delhommer; his children, Michael Delhommer Jr., Lori Cobb, Jason Delhommer, and Jeri Delhommer; his grandchildren, Collin, Piper, Hannah, Kendall, Sammy, Lane, Sadie, and Bentley. He is also survived by his brothers, Curtis Delhommer (wife Joy) and Mark Delhommer (wife Cynthia), and his sisters, Linda Diez and Beverly Perry.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Delhommer and Ida Mae Lambert; his brothers, Hiram LeBeau (Paco), Andrew Delhommer (Bubba), Marvin Delhommer, Larry Delhommer, and Barry Delhommer.
Services will be held at Truth and Life Church in Maurepas on Saturday, January 10th, at 11 a.m.
