Melanie Dianne Rogers Godwin was born on May 27, 1968, in Baton Rouge and rested from this life on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at her home in Walker, at the age of 57 years.

She is preceded in death by her husband Stephen Rogers; mother Margaret Granshaw, and a brother Scotty Granshaw.

Melainie is survived by her son Gabriel Rogers and her daughter Ashley Rogers Blaize; two grandchildren Mathew and Danyel Blaize, and a brother Stephen Granshaw.
