Meagan Paige Thomas, age 34, of Livingston Parish, Louisiana, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. She was born on January 18, 1992 in Baton Rouge to Ronald C. Jr. and Tonya Thomas.
Meagan will be remembered for her love of cats, doom metal, concerts, horror movies, tattoos, spending time with her friends, and all things goth related. She was known for throwing the best birthday parties every year for herself with her friends and loved ones, taking any opportunity to scream-sing the full 9 minutes and 8 seconds of Free Bird at karaoke, and for having a personality as colorful as her hair. She was rarely without her signature dramatic eye makeup, often finished with jewels, stars, or stickers that made every look uniquely hers. She was a devoted daughter, beloved sister, and loyal friend whose kindness touched everyone she met. Meagan’s adventurous spirit and kind and caring soul will be heavily missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ronald C. Sr. and Carole Thomas, William and Doris Moore, and her cat, Ninja Kitty. She is survived by her parents, Ronald C. Jr. and Tonya Thomas; her sister, Kristen Thomas; her Aunt and Uncle Karen and Jimmy Sharp, and her cousins Jade Henderson and Janna Sharp; her Aunt Jennifer Thomas and her cousins Ariele Deaton and Jordan Dupree; her Aunt Wendy Dunaway and her cousin Chloe Dunaway; her Aunt and Uncle Jason and Sabrina Moore, and her cousins Scott, Logan, and Callie Moore; as well as her cats, Peaches and Snow, and her many friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026 from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM at Sweet Magnolia Place in Gonzales. To honor and celebrate Meagan’s colorful personality, we ask that you wear her favorite colors, which are black, hot pink, teal, or purple. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cara’s House or Cat Haven in her honor.
