Mary “Anne” Ezell, born in Montrose, Mississippi on August 20th, 1939, passed away at her home in Fort Payne, Alabama on September 20th, 2025 in the presence of her loved ones.

Anne lived her life for her family, especially highlighted by her 49 years of marriage to her late husband Aaron. She leaves behind the memories of cherished gatherings at her home, and a wealth of values to be passed on to her many relatives.

She is survived by daughter Lisha Ezell Laspe, grandson Jonathan Shaw, great-granddaughter Ariana Shaw, sister Diane Harris, grandson Cory Ezell, daughter Terry Ezell, granddaughter Amber Wise, and great-grandchildren Adalyn and Jason, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and many extended relatives.

She preceded in death by her husband Aaron “Jake” Ezell, son David Ezell, grandson Aaron Blake Shaw, great-granddaughter Rilee Bacon, brothers Robert Fay and Clinton Ray Flynn, and sisters Mildred Seifert and Charles Evelyn Robinson.

A visitation will be held for Mary Anne Ezell on Saturday, September 27th, 2025 at Shady Bower Pentecostal Church 31291 Walker Rd N, Walker, LA 70785 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a graveside burial service at Revival Temple Church in Walker, LA. After all services have been concluded, attendants are invited back to Shady Bower Church for a reception.
