Martha Ard Breeland

A ceremony celebrating the life of Martha Ard Breeland will be held at The Church of St Amant on Thursday March 28, 2024, visitation will begin at 9 am until time of the service at 11 am.

Interment will be at Resthaven Garden of Memory Cemetery, Baton Rouge.

Martha was born on November 4, 1951, in Independence, and departed from this life on Tuesday March 26, 2024, at the age of 72 years.

She was a resident of Denham Springs and a homemaker. She enjoyed dancing, music, gardening and caring for her plants. Her greatest passion was her family and time spent together.

She is preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Patsy Traylor Ard, sons Michael Breeland and Harris Thurmand, siblings Raymond Ard and Linda Ramo.

Survivors include her daughter Patricia Brand, grandchildren Justin Thurmand and Sadie Brand, siblings Ann Ard Braud, Donna Dupont, Jamie Poe, Luther Fleming, and Joe Ard, also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
