Mark Ray Stegall

Mark Ray Stegall, born June 8, 1965, Selmar, Tennessee, passed away on May 20, 2024, at the age of 58 in Gonzales, LA.  He was employed with Super Stop Convenient Stores for almost 20 years, where he was currently a supervisor. Mark enjoyed Tennessee Volunteers football, music of any genre, and camping with his wife Cindy.

 He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Cynthia LaGrange; stepchildren, Danielle Beeson (Ryan) and Greg Schexnayder; sisters, Rayna (Ronnie) Ray and Rhonda (Dean) Tharp; sister-in-law, Lisa Johnson (Keith); brother-in-law, Travis Frederick; nieces and nephews, Jessica Whisman, Brooke (Brandon) Dalton, Megan (Chad) Wiggins, James Ray, Jaime Frederick, Jeremy Frederick, Derek Johnson (Simone), Randall Johnson (Lisa), Hunter Johnson (Morgan), Alaini Quebedeaux, and Oriana Daigle (Charlie); lifelong friend, Steve Jones; his beloved Boston Terrier, Gracie.

Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Jane Ralston Stegall and Ray Stegall, Jr.; brother, Mitch Stegall; maternal grandparents, Earl and Thelma Shaw / William and Mattie Ralston; paternal Grandparents, Ray Stegall, Sr., and Julia Mae Stegall; mother and father-in-law, Mary Alice and Paul LaGrange; sisters-in-law, Marie LaGrange and Tonia Quebedeaux; beloved pet, Angel Stegall.

A memorial service to honor Mark’s memory will be held at a later date.
