Mark Burris Bercegeay, age 60, passed away on Wednesday, September 24 2025

Born on January 8,1965,Mark spent most of his life working as a roofer- shard working trade that matched his hands- on nature. He was a natural tinkerer, always fixing or fiddling with something and was known for his quick wit and joking spirit. If there was laughter in the room, Mark was usually nearby.

He had a deep love for family and tradition- especially when it came to Thanksgiving. Mark was always the first in line to cook the turkey, making sure the meal brought everyone together. He also had a soft spot for his beloved dog, Precious, who was never far from his side.

Mark is survived by his siblings; Raven Godso and her husband Adam, Annette Ragan, Ronald Bercegeay and his wife Sharon, Philip Bercegeay, Debbie Bercegeay, Josephine Bercegeay, and Nolan Vicknair , along with numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Swanette Buratt Clouatre and Joseph Burris Bercegeay; his siblings Lisa Bradford, Frank Bercegeay, Jinnie Sykes, and Clayton Bercegeay

Mark will be remembered for his sense of humor, his generous spirit, and the warmth he brought into every room- and every kitchen. He will be deeply missed, forever loved and never forgotten.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 6th from 6:00 to 8:00p.m. at The Church International located at 13423 Hwy 431, St. Amant, Louisiana 70774. All who knew and loved Mark are welcome to attend and celebrate his life.
