Marie Theresa Turley

With Heavy Hearts, We announce the passing of our beloved Marie Theresa Turley. Marie transitioned peacefully at Saint Jospeh’s Carpenter House on July 7, 2023. Marie was born on February 22, 1943 to Thomas and Rita Lawler.

Family was of the utmost importance to Marie. She shared a deep and loving partnership with her late husband Douglas Turley till his passing in 1995.

Marie had 5 children, David (Paula) Bordelon, Rosette Bordelon, Heidi Bordelon, Jude (Kristi) Bordelon and Senaca Bordelon. She also had 5 grandchildren, David Bordelon Jr. Laci (Chase) McLean, Austin Chauvin, Haley Delahoussay and Liam Bordelon. There was also 2 great- grandchildren Luke and Ella Grace McLean, whom she loved dearly. She also had extended family members of brothers and sisters. Her unending kindness for others and deep love for her family will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her.

Rest In Peace Dear Marie. Your smile and laughter will continue to live into the hearts and minds of all who had the privilege of knowing you. You will be missed dearly and your light will shine on in the lives of those you’ve touched as a beacon of love, warmth and kindness
