Margaret “Nana” Ann Landrum, born January 15th, 1951 in Angie, LA passed away on April 18th, 2023 at her residence in Albany at the age of 72.
Nana retired as a licensed practical nurse, and during her retirement she enjoyed spending her time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren Logan & Gracelyn; Her casino trips, where she somehow always found luck. She also enjoyed cooking for family events, but most of all; spending her time fishing with her loving husband.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Johnny Landrum, mother Audrey Purvis, children Angela Landrum (Joy), Doug Landrum (Roy, Gage) grandchildren Hannah Landrum, Abbey Brasel (Matt), Johnny Brasel (Maddie), great-grandchildren Logan Lain and Gracelyn Sue, sisters BJ Giovingo, Rhonda Krachenfels, and Carolyn Dillon; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father Harold Purvis and brother Harold W. Purvis JR.
A visitation preceding funeral services for Margaret Landrum will begin at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 21st with a funeral service at 12:00 PM and a graveside committal to follow. Services will be held at Bethlehem Baptist Church 29350 S Montpelier Rd, Albany, LA 70711. Pallbearers include Johnny Brasel, Matthew Montz, Trent Hutchinson, Jacob Nemeth, Boyd Wild, Joe Foster, and honorary pallbearer Logan Landrum. In Lieu of Flowers, the family of Nana asks that contributions and gifts be made to help defray funeral and monument costs.
