Marcus “Jimbo” Watson, Sr

Marcus “Jimbo” Watson, Sr. was born on May 21st, 1970 in Baton Rouge, LA. and died of an illness on October 2nd, 2022 at Our Lady of the Lake hospital in Baton Rouge, LA.



Marcus was survived by his father Benny Watson, Sr; his children Jessica Watson, Stephanie Watson, and Marcus Watson Jr.; his grandchildren Ryland Watson, Israel Hull, and Oaklynn Watson; his sisters and their spouses Betty and Wayne Hull, Pam and Sam Townley, Nancy and Billy Hanks, and Jeanette and Eddie Jenkins; and plenty of extended family and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife Melissa (Willis) Watson; his mother Lena (Cresie) Watson; and his brother Benny Watson, Jr.



Marcus was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many. He brought life and laughter into any room he walked into. He was a kind, generous, funny, and loving soul. He made an everlasting impact on the people who knew him. He will truly be missed by many.
