Marc David Kremer

  Marc Kremer, a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on August 24, 2026, after a courageous battle with glioblastoma. Born on August 18, 1975, in the vibrant city of New Orleans, Louisiana, Marc lived a life full of passion and dedication, leaving a profound impact on all who knew him.

  Marc was born to Mike and Mary Kremer, who were his guiding lights throughout his life. He was predeceased by his paternal and maternal grandparents, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms. Marc's cherished memory will continue to be lovingly honored by his surviving family members, including his parents, Mike and Mary, and his siblings, Michel (John), Matt (Mignon and Harlow), his nephew Jacob (Dominique and Brooklynn), his niece, Juliet (Reece), and a host of beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.

  A proud graduate of Delgado, Marc specialized in Respiratory Therapy, a field through which he dedicated his professional life to helping others. His commitment to service was further exemplified by his honorable tenure in the US Marine Corps, where he served his country with pride and dignity. As a Respiratory Therapist, Marc brought vital care and comfort to countless patients at Tulane Medical Center and Children’s Hospital, where his colleagues and patients admired his kindness and skill.

  Outside of his professional life, Marc was an ardent sports enthusiast, with a particular fondness for the LSU Tigers and the New Orleans Saints. He cherished the camaraderie and excitement that came with cheering on his favorite teams. His love for 80's movies was legendary among his friends and family, as he could effortlessly recall every actor and detail from that cherished era of film.

  Marc’s family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated staff of Compassus Hospice and Oakwood Village for their compassionate care during his final days.

  Marc was a beacon of warmth, humor, and resilience. Though his time with us has ended, the light he brought into our lives will never fade. He will be dearly missed, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
