Lynn Borgstede Ebeyer

Lynn Borgstede Ebeyer passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023, at the age of 80.  She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to George and Delia Borgstede on Wednesday, June 23, 1943.  As a young girl she enjoyed roller skating, riding horses and training dogs especially her German Shepard, Nicky.  She attended St. Joseph’s where she made many long-lasting friendships till the day she passed.  While Lynn lived in Atlanta, GA and worked at the Atlanta Symphony where she met her best friend, Jackie Goldammer.  They remained the best of friends and talked quite often, Mom always referring to her as a sister.  While living in Gonzales, LA Lynn was also a Master Gardener where her love of flowers and plants bloomed, and she created beautiful gardens.  This is where she also met another best friend/sister Rosemary Monaco.  Lynn was an avid Saints fan, and you could always find her there every Sunday in front of her TV cheering them on.  Lynn also loved her cats, and she took care of many over the years and provided a loving and safe home for them!  She was preceded in death by her Father George Borgstede and Mother Delia Borgstede. She is survived by her children, Lisa Ebeyer and husband Jeff Deist, Dawn Ebeyer, Tracy Ebeyer and wife Terry Radigan, and her Granddaughter Sadie Ebeyer-Deist, who all miss her very much!  A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 11:00 at Garden of Memories 4900 Airline Dr., Metairie, LA 70001
