Lucy Oubre

Lucy passed away peacefully Wednesday May 30, 2018 at the age of 95 years. She was born on January 20th, 1923, a native of Paincourtville and a resident of Donaldsonville. She was a retired employee of RN Sims Insurance Agency and Bourg Insurance Agency. Visiting will be held Friday June 1, 2018 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church from 9 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am, celebrated by Father Paul Ui. Entombment will follow in the church mausoleum. Lucy is survived by her sister, Carmelite Gradwohl of Kenner, and numerous nieces and nephews including Pookie Rome, Kenneth Oubre and Debbie Schexnayder. She was preceded in death by her husband Marcel Oubre, parents Edmond Angeline Landry Caballero, three sisters Rosalite Naquin, Mercedes Dugas, and Jeanne Landry, and four brothers Percy, Jean’, Louis and Ned Caballero.
