Louis Ira Tyler, Iii
On Sunday, February 14, 2021, Louis Ira Tyler, III, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana passed away at the age of 73.
“Lou” was born in Baton Rouge to Dr. Louis I. Tyler, Jr. and Anne (Hoffpauir) Tyler. He graduated from Baton Rouge High School and attended several colleges before graduating from broadcasting school. Lou loved cars, football, good southern cooking and his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Lou is survived by: his daughter Kelly Salinas, her husband Paul, and their children Gabe and Millie, all of West Bend, Wisconsin; his brothers – Dr. Robyn Tyler and his wife Cheryl, Thomas L. Tyler and his wife Margaret, all of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Major Brooks Tyler (USAF Ret.) and his wife Rhonda, of St. Petersburg, Florida; his step-mother Audrey Tyler of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; his step-daughter Jennifer Banks of Madison, Alabama; and many nieces and nephews.
A family memorial service will take place at a later date.
