Linda Bergeron Millien

August 29, 1950 — April 24, 2025

Linda Bergeron Millien, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on August 29, 1950, in Collins, Mississippi, Linda made her home in St. Amant, Louisiana, where she built a life full of love and laughter.

Linda lived her life with a free spirit and a kind heart. A proud attendee of Woodstock, she carried that adventurous energy with her throughout her life. She found joy in the pages of romance novels, and never passed up the chance to try the latest “As Seen on TV” gadget. Her curiosity and humor were as boundless as her love for her family.

She was a devoted wife to the late Joseph David Millien, and together they created a beautiful, blended family. Linda was preceded in death by her loving husband, her parents, and all of her siblings, but her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched.

Linda is survived by her four children: Christopher Millien, Samantha Millien Lipscomb, Angela Millien Alday, and Jason D. Millien (Cynthia Millien); and her three stepchildren: Michael Millien (and wife), Carrie Millien, and Lisa Millien. She was a proud grandmother to many and cherished her great-grandchildren.

Linda’s greatest joy came from her family. Her home was always open, her hugs always warm, and her wisdom generously shared. She will be remembered for her unwavering love and her signature wit.

May she now rest in peace, surrounded by the beauty of a garden only heaven could grow—free to plant as many flowers as she likes.
