Linda Charmaine Festervan Bauer was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on September 20, 1947. She was preceded in death by the love of her life Donald Emil Bauer; her parents, Gene and Lillian Festervan; two sisters, Peggy Patterson and Joyce McCaa, and her beloved brother, Richard Lee Mizzell. She is survived by her only child, her precious daughter, Stacey (Joey) Poche; a granddaughter, Brooke (Joe) Shifflett; grandson, Braydon Poche; great grandchildren, Brantson, Savannah, and Adaya; close nephews and niece along with other family members and many special friends. Linda had a huge heart for her family and friends, especially for strangers and the homeless. She had an unwavering desire for everyone that she came in contact with to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Linda was a faithful prayer warrior and a beautiful spirit-filled child of God who has left such legacy of faith and an example to follow. Linda received a complete healing Thursday, June 5, 2025, when Jesus lovingly wrapped her in His arms and carried her home. Her life will be celebrated Tuesday, June 10th at 1 p.m. at Greenwell Springs Baptist Church, where she served as a secretary and in other capacities for many years.
