Over the course of her career she completed many commissioned portraits of people and pets.  She spent many years teaching art at her studio in Baton Rouge.  She said that from the age of three years old she knew the Lord had gifted her with an artistic talent.  She was so grateful for this gift and endeavored to share it with her students by teaching them to love the creative process.

Funeral Service to celebrate Linda’s life will be Tuesday, September 29 at Fellowship Church on Hwy 73 in Prairieville with visitation from 9-11am with service at 11am.  Honorary pallbearers are her grandsons Tyler Johnson, Dylan Johnson, Jordan Hill, Jared Hill, and nephews Kevin Alexander, and Kiley Nastasi.  Linda’s family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff of Gonzales Healthcare for their care of Linda during her time in residence at the home.  We are blessed by the prayers and support of friends during Linda’s illness and wish to thank them all for such thoughtfulness.
