Lilly Carpenter Foote, a beloved member of the community, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2026, at the Golden Age Healthcare Center in Denham Springs. Born on December 18, 1960, in Cheneyville, Louisiana, she was a proud graduate of Morgan City High School. Lilly's life was a testament to her strong faith, as she was a member of the Catholic Faith, which guided her values and actions throughout her life.

Lilly has a beautiful voice with a love for singing. She shared her talent participating in many karaoke events. 

Lilly was known for her remarkable culinary skills; she had a passion for cooking that brought joy and nourishment to her family and friends. Her love for animals was evident, and she had a deep compassion for all living beings, developing a special bond with her beloved companion dog, Zoey. Lilly treasured the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, who were a significant part of her life. Through her nurturing nature and dedication, she created lasting memories with Baylor, Brody, Charlotte, Alexandra, and Hazel, who were her pride and joy. She held a special bond with her nieces, nephews and their families.

She is survived by her loving family, including her sons Chad Foote and Becky, Jeremy Foote and Jess; her daughter Brittany Foote; her sisters Janet C. Wallace and Michael, and Billie Jo Broussard and Daniel; and the father of her children, Jerry Foote. Lilly joins her departed loved ones, including her parents, Ben Allen Carpenter and Mamie Glaviano Carpenter, and her sister, Judy Clark, in eternal rest.

Lilly Carpenter Foote will be remembered for her generosity, warmth, and love for those around her, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her. She will be missed dearly, but her spirit will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

A ceremony celebrating Lilly's life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday March 14, 2026, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
