Leslie Monique Wilkinson

August 2, 1967 — March 2, 2025

Leslie Monique Wilkinson passed away at Baton Rouge General on March 2, 2025.  She graduated from Broadmoor High School in 1984.  Leslie was a loving and playful mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.  Leslie was free-spirited, intelligent, deeply caring and a talented writer.

Leslie is survived by her stepmother, Jane Spiller Wilkinson; her stepfather, Russell Truxillo, Jr.; her son, Bruce Robert Taylor, his wife Lanie Taylor; daughters Josephine Saltzman and Brieanna Kalyn Saltzman; grandchild, Ethan Alexander Taylor; sister, Moira Wilkinson Lee; brother George H. Wilkinson, Jr.  Leslie was preceded in death by her father, George Huber Wilkinson; her mother, Betty David; her sisters, Lisa Wilkinson Lejeune and Dianne Wilkinson McNabb, her maternal grandparents, Willie and Lucia David; her paternal grandmother, Dorothy Marchal; and her paternal grandfather the late Senator Horace Wilkinson, III.
