Lesley Paul Morales passed away on October 27, 2026, at the age of 76. Born on April 12, 1950, Lesley lived a life marked by kindness, simplicity, and a deep appreciation for the things he loved most.
He graduated from Assumption High School, where he also distinguished himself on the football field and was nominated as Player of the Year during his high school years. He later served in the Vietnam War, a chapter of his life that reflected his courage and commitment.
Lesley was a very kind man who believed in simple living. He found joy in fishing and crawfishing, pastimes that suited his steady nature and love of the outdoors. He also enjoyed old western movies, which brought him many quiet hours of pleasure. Those who knew him will remember a man who lived plainly, cared deeply, and carried himself with warmth and humility.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Mae Gaudet Morales; his father, Everst Morales; his mother, Anita Morales; his brother, EJ Morales; his sister, Theresa Morales; and his brother-in-law, Herman Campo.
Lesley leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory. He is survived by his sisters, Gerdie Campo, Verlin Landry (Nelson), and Vera Ruiz (Johnny), and by his brothers, Iry Morales (Diane), Ernest Morales (Amy), Aubrey Morales (Ginger), and Danny Morales (Anne). He is also survived by his stepdaughters, Tina Cavalier (Norman) and Monica LeBlanc (Ricky), and by his stepson, Rory Glynn. May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him and peace to all who were blessed to know him.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Tina and Norman for always being there for Mr. Lesley and for looking out for him.
