Leoland (Lee) James Braud

Leoland J. (Lee) Braud, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away surrounded by the love of his family.

  Born on October 23, 1948, Lee lived a life centered around the people he loved most. Family was incredibly important to him, and some of his greatest joys came from simply spending time with those closest to him. He especially treasured time with his great-grandchildren, whether he was playing ball with them, laughing with them, or simply enjoying having them near.

  Lee also had a love for the outdoors. Hunting and fishing were among his favorite pastimes and brought him many cherished memories throughout his life. He appreciated the simple things and found his greatest happiness in family, the outdoors, and time spent with those he loved.

  Lee shared 53 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Linda M. Braud. Together, they built a life filled with love, family, and memories that will continue to be treasured for generations.

  Lee was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Vicknair; his father, Emile Braud; and his siblings, Marie Braud, Elsie May Braud, Gloria Kilburn, Bobby Baudoin, Nora Louque, and Lester Braud

  He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda M. Braud; his son, Michael J. Braud (Donna Braud); his brothers, John Braud (Troy Braud) and Charlie Ray Robertson (Barbra Robertson); and his sisters, Winnie West and Roxanna Kreamer (Mike Kreamer).

  Lee is also survived by his granddaughters, Kelsey Braud (Paul Randazzo Jr.) and Alicia M. Braud (Chris Cashio), as well as his six great-grandchildren.

  His extended family includes his step-grandchildren, Renee Anstatt, Jenna Guerra (Bert Guerra), Joey Lessard, and Travis "TJ" Lessard Jr., along with his nine step-great-grandchildren.

Lee leaves behind a family who loved him deeply and a lifetime of memories that will never be forgotten. His presence will be missed in the everyday moments-the family gatherings, hunting and fishing, the stories shared over the years, and especially the games of ball with his great-grandchildren.

Although his family's hearts are heavy, they will forever be grateful for the years they were blessed to share with him. He was a very proud grandfather and great-grandfather, lovingly known as Paw Paw. His love, lessons, laughter, and memories will continue to live on through the generations of the family he loved so dearly.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
