Laura Belle McMorris Bonaventure

Laura Belle passed away on Tuesday, July 22 at Landmark South. She was 94 years old and a native of Walker, LA. She worked in banking and then at Rabenhorst Funeral Home until she was 89. 

She is survived by her sons, Ellis, Jr. and Randall (Juli) and 5 grandchildren. Kimberly (Wade) Wootan, Chris (Candace), Justin (Lindsey), Blake (Evy), and Stuart (Karmon) Bonaventure. She was blessed with 12 great-grandchildren. Allie, Nolan, Layla, Anna Kathryn, Reese, AnaJane, Mary Mims, Kooper, Merri Madden, Scotty and Sawyer Bonaventure and Eli Wootan. 

Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Ezra and Golda McMorris, her husband, Ellis, Sr., 5 brothers and 1 sister and a granddaughter, Anna Leigh Bonaventure. 

There will be a graveside service at Greenoaks Memorial Park on Monday, July 28 at 10:00am. Officiating is Charlie Surbeck (a good friend).
