Larry Touchet, Sr.

Larry Touchet Sr, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed away on March 13, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family and his beloved fur babies.

Born in Abbeville, LA, Larry lived a vibrant life, filled with music , sports, friends and family. He was always the life of the party ensuring everyone had a good time. A true Louisiana man, Larry was known for his tailgate parties and parties in his LSU game room. He loved hosting crawfish boils,and gaterings with family and friends. He was famous for his co-chon de lait events and his wrapped alligator when LSU played Florida. Larry was extremely generous and was quick to donate his much loved sports memorabilia or his hand made carpentry works for fund raising events.

Larry was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Virgie Vice and his father, Dennis Touchet. He is survived by his wife Madonna Phillips-Touchet, his daughter Becky Gonzalez and her husband Shane Gonzalez, his son Larry Touchet, Jr. and wife Pattie Touchet, as well as Georgiana Guzzardo, mother of his two children.

He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren: Marlena Miller, Chance Gonzalez, Brady Touchet, Garrett Touchet, Dylan Touchet, Marta Elizabeth Holmes-Sipal and Keis Holmes, as well as his great-grandchildren: Makayla Debate, Mackenzie Debate, Hayvnn Gonzalez and Naomi Gonzalez.

Larry also is survived by his brother Daniel Touchet, Half-brothers Dennis Touchet Jr., Robert Touchet, Joseph Touchet and half-sister Diana Armendariz.

A celebration of life: Larry's last tailgate party, will be held in his honor at Sno's Seafood and Steak on Saturday, April, 12, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m . 13131 Airline Hwy, Gonzalez, LA 70737, Please wear your favorite LSU apparel in his honor.
