Larry “Gator” Harris, Sr.

A gathering celebrating the life of Larry “Gator” Harris, Sr., will be held at 11:00 am Saturday August 10, 2019 at Jeff’s Place, 37130 Edward Jackson Road, Geismar, LA. Larry was born on April 16, 1962 in New Orleans and departed from this life on Friday August 2, 2019 at the age of 57 years, 3 months and 17 days old. He was a resident of Gonzales, worked in the construction industry as a carpenter. Served with the U S National Guard working with heavy equipment. He enjoyed social time with friends and family, working, especially on projects and building things. His passion was his family and his only grandbaby girl. He is survived by his children Brittany, Larry Jr., and Aaron; his companion Veronica; granddaughter Brinia; also survive by 6 sisters, 3 brothers, grand-dog Jocelyn companion; host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Hazel.
