Larry Daniel Cummings

Larry Daniel Cummings, 72 years old of Greensburg, Louisiana, passed away Wednesday February 14, 2024, at his residence on the Amite River. Larry was born December 13, 1951. He became a Merchant Marine at the age 16 and for many years until changing career paths to become a master framing carpenter. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Bobby Grimsley, two daughters Reva Johnson of Pineville, Louisiana and Cindy Williams-Frye of Russellville, Arkansas; son, Landon Williams of Plaquemine, Louisiana; 7 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father and mother Archie Daniel and Zelma Cummings, two brothers Archie Ray and Walter Cummings, and two sisters Mary Catherine Mire and Helen Collins. Memorial services at Grangeville Baptist Church on Saturday February 17, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., conducted by Pastor Mike Cotton Sr. Following reception at Larry’s address 19099 Highway 10 Lot 10, Clinton, LA 70722.
