Lance Joseph Cavalier Sr.

Lance Joseph Cavalier Sr. was born on July 30, 1978.  He was a resident of St. Amant and passed away on March 4, 2024, at the age of 45.  He graduated from Camp Beauregard and was an Army veteran, who proudly served his country.  Lance was a father, son, brother, Uncle, nephew, cousin, friend, and even a Babop to a special little someone.  He was always that person to go above and beyond to help anyone at any time, regardless of what he had going on.  He was known for stopping everything to do something for someone else.  Lance was a forgiving person.  He was a Pipefitter by trade and looked forward to his future.  
 
 Lance is survived by his children, Lance Jospeh Cavalier, Jr. (Meredith Nicole) and Lailey Jade Cavalier; Mother, Juanita Marie Ivey Garlington (preceded in death); Dad, Mark Garlington; Father, Dale Thibodeaux (Tina); siblings, Tommy Lynn Ivey (Chance), Taylor "Bubba" Thibodeaux, Jessica Thibodeaux; mother of his children, Lindsey Hulin Cavalier; Godchild, Victoria Breaux; grandparents, Audrey Blanchard Cavalier Breaux Rivero (preceded in death), Lanson Joseph Cavalier (preceded in death), Grandma Marlene Benoit, Grannie Boops Thibodeaux; Godparents, Sheila Hamilton and Brian Keith Theroit (preceded in death), Ronald Alleman; Aunts and Uncles, Bonnie Reed (Warren), Lyndon Breaux ( Tommye), Rachel Breaux, Brice Hamilton, Chanel Thomas, Jason Garlington, Ronny Garlington, Bryan Garlington, Ann Thibodeaux, Jean Cooley (Lance), Tammy (Randy).
 
Lance always knew he was blessed to have so many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
 
 A memorial to celebrate Lance's life will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024, at the VFW Hall (42430 Churchpoint Rd. Gonzales, LA) with visitation from 10am until 2pm and Service at 1pm.  All family and friends are welcome to attend.
