Lacey was a long-time member of Healing Place Church where she went on to attend night school to grow in her faith and knowledge of the word. For years she volunteered on the Baptism team and was a greeter on Sundays. She loved cats, having many beloved feline companions such as Clyde, Meeka, Mynx, Callie and Vader. She volunteered often with the local animal shelter to feed, rescue, and provide necessary medical care to strays in the area. She gave to the homeless often putting together blessing bags filled with necessities teaching her daughter about the importance of caring for others.
Lacey loved to read and write. She was creative, being described as a natural born storyteller with the soul of a poet. She made every holiday come alive. She had the biggest firework shows she could muster on the 4th of July, orchestrated the spookiest Halloween parties and made Christmas a season not just a day. She showed her love through the delicious meals she created to share with others and always knew how to make people laugh. Despite the many setbacks she faced throughout her life, she always kept pushing forward and that is something that will never be forgotten. She will be missed by her mother Sherry Efferson LeBlanc, daughter Kennedy Falcon, sister, Bethany King, sister Aimee King Cowart and many more friends and family.
Her memorial will be held at Healing Place Church Annex (19202 Highland Rd, Baton Rouge, LA 70809) on November 21, 2025, with visitation beginning at 10am until memorial service to celebrate her life at 10:30am.
