Kiri Marie Richard

Kiri Marie Richard passed away on March 1, 2026, in Slidell, Louisiana at the age of 41. She was born on July 2, 1984, in New Orleans, Kiri brought joy and warmth to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Kiri embodied a kind spirit and had a profound love for animals that was evident in her cherished companionship with her beloved pets, Sky, Zydeco, and Katniss. She was truly a lover of life, passionately embracing time spent with family and friends, creating memories that would warm their hearts forever. Her adventurous spirit led her to travel far and wide, with Belize holding a special place in her heart. An avid fisherman, Kiri found happiness and tranquility in the great outdoors, where she often reflected on the beauty of the world around her. She was a dedicated respiratory therapist and was a vibrant force of love and compassion to those she cared for. 

She is survived by her mother, Renee Richard, and her brother, Aaron Richard, both of whom will carry her memory forward in their hearts. Kiri’s father, Earl Richard, recently preceded her in death, leaving behind a legacy of love that Kiri continued to honor throughout her life.

Kiri Marie Richard will be remembered not just for her professional accomplishments as a respiratory therapist but also for the infectious energy and kindness she radiated. Her impact on the lives of her loved ones will be felt deeply, and her spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her.

A private service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
