Kevin D Ray

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our brother, Kevin on Friday, June 13, 2025.  He was born September 20, 1961, to Virgil and Norma Ray.  He was an avid LSU fan, as well as drag racing and NASCAR.  He also had an interest in airplanes.  Kevin is survived by his sisters, Lisa Babin (Jay), Denise Robinson (James); brothers, Joey Ray (Pam), and Alan Ray (Dawn); godchildren, Jennifer Babin Torres and Derek Ray, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other family members.  Kevin is preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Norma Ray; paternal grandparents; maternal grandparents, and great niece, Ariella. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Prairieville, LA from 9:30am until the Mass of Christian burial at 11:30 am. Entombment will follow at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church Mausoleum.  

The family would like to thank the staff of Amedysis Hospice for their compassion and care to Kevin during his time of need. 

In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Kevin's honor to The Mary Bird Perkins Foundation, American Cancer Society, or charity of your choice.
