Kerry Muth Pradat, affectionately known as Kiki, passed away on April 15, 2026, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Born on September 12, 1951, in New Orleans, Louisiana, she led a life marked by dedication, warmth, and an enduring commitment to her family and community.
Kerry’s professional journey was distinguished by her contributions to education and the local hospitality industry. She retired from the Jefferson Parish Public School Board, where she served with diligence and integrity. Subsequently, she devoted 30 years to the Treasure Chest casino, establishing herself as a respected and valued employee.
Beyond her professional life, Kerry was passionate about music and cooking, interests that brought joy to her and those around her. Her love for these arts reflected her vibrant spirit and her ability to find harmony and comfort in the everyday.
Kerry is survived by her son, Shane Pradat, her sister Tracy Muth Pitts, her brother Van Muth, her grandson Nicholas Leblanc, her great-grandson Nicholas Leblanc Jr., and her great-granddaughter Eisliegh LeBlanc. She is also remembered fondly by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews who cherished her presence in their lives.
She was preceded in death by her son, Chad Pradat, and her sister, Diane Madere.
Her passing leaves a significant void, but her legacy endures through her family and the many lives she touched. Kerry Muth Pradat will be remembered as a dedicated professional, a loving mother and grandmother, and a woman whose passions enriched those fortunate enough to know her.
