Kermit V Lilliman Jr.

Kermit V. Lilliman Jr, (Coonie), age 56, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. Coonie was born in Houma, October 12, 1969, to Kermit and Carol Lilliman.

  He served in the U.S. Army as an infantryman from December 27, 1991, through June 29, 1994.  He married Jodi, for the first time June 2006. Life took them down different roads, but they reconnected and remarried March 17, 2026- because true love only grows in time, sometimes it just takes a while to finally get it right. Coonie enjoyed spending his time fishing, hanging out with friends and family and playing video games with his son Glenn. If he was inside you could bet, he’d be watching a good horror or comedy movie on TV.

He is survived by Jodi the love of his life; sons Porter (Crystal), and Glenn (Brandy), daughter Audrey; sisters Rachel (Danny), and Shannon. Sister-in-law Ramona and brother-in-law Ray (Sherrie). As well as eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Coonie was preceded in death by his parents and sister Ruthie.

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
