Keith Aloysius Falcon Sr.

Keith Aloysius Falcon, Sr. devoted husband, father, educator and veteran, passed away peacefully on December 25,2022 at age 100. Keith was born in Belle Helene, LA in 1922. He graduated from Dutchtown High School and began pre-med studies at LSU before enlisting in the Army in 1942. He served as Staff Sargent, Medical Tech, 21st Infantry Regiment, 24th Division in the Pacific until 1945. He received Silver, Bronze and Five Invasion Stars for his valor. He was married to his beloved Biz, 1945. He returned to LSU to earn Bachelors of Science (1948), medical technology certificate from Charity Hospital of Louisiana (1949) and Masters in Education from LSU (1954). He resided in Donaldsonville most of his adult life. He diligently served the Ascension Parish School system for 30 years as teacher, coach, principal, supervisor, and superintendent (1950-1980). Keith enjoyed fishing with his buddies, traveling with his family, woodworking, gardening and sharing all his wisdom with his grand and great grandchildren. He was a prolific story teller until his last days. Keith is preceded in death by her parents Bernice LeBlanc and Thomas Herd Falcon, Sr.; his wife, Elizabeth (Biz) LeBlanc,; his daughter Susan Claire Falcon; his sisters, Shirley F. Troth, Mazie F. Rousell, Sue LeBourgeois, and Margaret F. Laurie; his brothers, Thomas Falcon, Jr., Desire Jules “Shorty” Falcon, Bernie P. Falcon and his great grandson Ethan Lo. Keith is survived in death by his sister, Barbara F. Mixon; daughter and son-in-law Peggy (Falcon) and Tommy Breaux; son Keith A. Falcon, Jr and Christie Burke Falcon; grandchildren Adrienne (Breaux) and Mark Bowen Jr., Vanessa (Breaux) and Kevin Fisher; Christopher P Falcon; great-grandchild Elizabeth “Libby” Lo, Amelia Bowen, Grant Bowen, and Quinn Bowen and numerous nieces and nephews. His family takes comfort in knowing that is resting peacefully in the arms of our Father in Heaven. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am Monday, January 9th, followed by Mass at 11:00 am at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Donaldsonville, LA. Internment will be at St. Francis of Assisi Mausoleum after mass. A special thank you to the Bridgeway Hospice team especially Evangeline Parsons and Lexi McKnight.
