Katheryn “Kat” Hines Henry

Katheryn “Kat” Hines Henry, born in Gonzales on June 21, 1949 and passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023.  Kat was a loving person, who was dedicated to caring for her son, Troy Michael Henry.  She enjoyed playing board games, watching movies, crafting, painting, and making jewelry.  She was a collector of snow globes and SpongeBob.  Kat is survived by her brother, Steve Hines; sister, Connie Hines Gauthier; 15 nieces and nephews.  Kat is preceded in death by her son, Troy Michael Henry; parents, Ellis and Theola Causey Hines; brothers, Ellis, Carl, and Billie Hines; sister, Betty Hines Kegel. A graveside will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Lusk Cemetery in Gonzales beginning at 11:30am.  The family would like to invite family and friends to gather in Kat’s memory for refreshments and fellowship following the burial at 838 Rome St. Gonzales, LA 70737.  Arrangements entrusted with Church Funeral Services of St. Amant, LA.
