Karen Ann Johnson

Karen Ann Johnson, 67, of Greenwell Springs, LA, passed away on April 16^th, 2024.

Karen was born on February 21, 1957 to Harold J Kudrna and Meredith Wawgh in Hinsdale, Ilinois. Karen worked as administrative in multiple industries.

In 1999, Karen met Willie (Bill) S. Johnson in Orlando, FL and married in May 14^th, 2004. Karen and Bill spent their time together working and traveling while enjoying their shared love of country life, outdoors, and motorcycles.

In 2012, Karen retired to spend time with her neighborhood community of friends, family, kids and furry friends. She become an active member of the Bethel United Methodist Church after she moved in Greenwell Springs LA.

Karen was predeceased by her husband Bill Johnson, and her parents: Harold Kudna, and Meredith Wawgh. She is survived by her stepson Jesse P. Johnson, his wife Naomi, and son Sydney; and stepdaughter Tiffany S. Cole, her husband Jacob, and their daughters: Kaytie, Alyssa and Ivalee.

Karen will always be lovingly remembered by her family as a lover of books, children and animals.

Services will be held at Bethel United Methodist Church in Greenwell Springs, LA on April 25^th at 9:00AM. Her ashes will be spread upon Black Lake in Campti, LA to be alongside her husband.
